Beauty Despite the Beast offers professionally designed pre-planned, Do It Yourself (DIY) deer resistant garden plans. The price listed does not include the plants. A convenient Shopping List is included with your purchase of a Plan which tells you where to buy the plants online to be delivered to your home.

Browse a variety of garden designs. Read a description of the garden and garden details such as: area of the garden bed, the aspect = sun or shade, an estimate of the plant costs. Match the hardiness zone of the garden with your site.

Select your garden plan.

Go to cart and check-out. Pay with credit card. You will receive links to download the Digital products in the Thank You page of the Checkout along with an email link that will last for 30 days.

Download the link. You will receive a 'zipped' Digital Product. Open the zipped product by clicking the 'zip' icon. A folder with the Garden Plan in jpeg format plus an Order List with each plant listed, their quantity and where to purchase online, plus detailed Planting Instructions in pdf formats will appear. Print documents.

Order plants in quantities shown on the Order List from the online sources provided. The online nurseries will ship to your address.

Layout and install the garden yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Be sure to follow the Planting Instructions provided with your purchase especially the extra protection in the first few weeks while the plants are young. Watch it grow and flower. Enjoy!

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Hello. I am Edith Katz, a Landscape Architect and professional garden designer with award winnning national and international landscapes all over the world and published gardens in the USA.

I recently returned from having lived and worked in London, England for over six years. With many beautiful gardens on my mind, I became challenged to find a way for ex-urban and rural gardeners in deer country to acquire sophisticated and distinctive designs that would allow them to enjoy beauty in their outdoor surroundings without sacrificing to the 'the beasts'. That is when I created Beauty Despite the Beast.

I offer my expertise and what is normally only available from expensive design studios at very low cost by creating a portfolio of ' off the shelf' pre-planned garden designs that can be adapted to a wide range of site locations. I also offer custom residential design services for deer resistant gardens that address an entire site.
